I would not recommend this facility to anyone. In 2016, FIELDSTON LODGE CARE CENTER charged a total of $2,568,931 for 71 Medicare Beneficiaries. My mom would not have liked to have been that lonely. She does much better with a little bit more activity going on around her. Lodge Lane was beautiful, but they did not have independent living. They only had assisted living, which was not what I was looking for. The facility was small, new, friendly, and stellar.

I just went out in my car and sobbed my eyes out. It is down in the hall somewhere, and she hasn’t gotten one yet. The lady bringing in the meal was really friendly. The people at the desk and my aunt’s social worker are wonderful. There’s just so much they could do, but they can’t change the building.

They make her wait a long time to use the bathroom. That’s the only complaint and everything else is good. She said the food is good most of the time, and she loves her physical therapist. I haven’t been really inside because we’re not allowed to go in because of COVID, but the lobby is clean. They have a place that they can sit outside. They have a little patio, but the outside is nice.
